Outreach-OKC Bus Station-Monday February 15, 2016

Hi there! Sorry it has been so long since I have talked to you.  I have been home with my family. My 3 kids and wife have been sick for more than a week and the Lord blessed me with being their caretaker.  I’m just now able to get out and about and hang out with my friends at the bus station.  This last Saturday morning was cold and I was able to give away a jacket and a few pairs of gloves to a few individuals.  One of the individuals I was giving gloves to was a girl. On my way to go get the gloves for her, someone runs after me needing my help. The help they needed was prayer.  It’s awesome when prayer is what they are needing.  They had some situations they wanted covered in prayer.  We prayed. We talked and it was really a blessing.

Once I got the gloves to the girl inside the bus station, I found her reading her Bible.  We talked and I was able to encourage her with the word of God, prayer and being reminded of God’s promises.  I also talked to a few more people but I spent most of my time talking to one individual who had a lot of questions.  I was blessed to have some answers for him and we were able to enjoy the presence of God at the bus station.  He shared a little riddle with me and said “Is there anything man made in the throne room of God in heaven?” The answer is, yes.  The scars on Jesus feet, hands, on his side and on his head. Wow.

Until next time…

Just show up and God does amazing things!
