There is no foundation in the Bible to support the Catholic concept and practice of praying to saints. The Bible is clear that all of God’s children are saints, so in effect one could pray to oneself but what good would that do? If we are being conformed to the image of Christ we ought to pray to who He prayed to, the Heavenly Father.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Romans 8:29 & 30
