Why Should I Get Saved?

God designed us to be in an eternal loving relationship with Him wherein He chooses to love us. However, He also gave us freewill, so we could actively make a choice to either return or reject His love. If we reject Jesus we are in effect rejecting His love.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2nd Peter 3:9

In response to this question, I’m left with nothing else but “why not get saved?” It seems to me that whatever the arguments are against being saved, they do not compare to the benefits of being saved which are promised by God.
